The party bought a mule and supplies in Gosterwick, then moved those supplies to the Sign of the Broken Head as a forward logistics point.
They assaulted the surface baboon tower by climbing from adjacent ruins/wall access, fighting multiple large baboons and one larger intelligent leader.
During the tower fight, at least one party member was knocked from height by a slam attack but survived and rejoined the fight.
After securing the tower, the party recovered three large tapestries and transported them back to the Sign of the Broken Head.
The group tracked fleeing baboons through a cistern tunnel network into a larger cave system consistent with the Howling Caves, then withdrew rather than engage a much larger force.
The party blocked/sealed the cistern tunnel entrance during withdrawal.
Later exploration and digging led to a cellar fight with multiple ghouls/ghasts, after which the party recovered valuable loot and returned toward town.
