Summary
Merenuithiel Lacrymosa Armaris (known as Lacrymosa) is an elven mercenary archer affiliated with the Grudge Brigade. She was hired by the Right for Riches company for the invasion of the Forum of Set in Sessions 43a–43c.
Abilities
- Highly skilled archer with rapid rate of fire; under Great Haste (cast by Vael) she was essentially a one-woman firing line.
- Carries alchemical grenades: Concussion, Flash, and Smoke nagetempos.
- Drinks Agility and Strength potions before major engagements.
- Has Luck (used it to survive Dobby’s invisible backstab attempt in Session 43b).
- Can wear magical goggles to see through Settite magical darkness.

Session 38 — Another Attack on the Temple of Set
- Hired as the party’s archer for the attack on the Temple of Set from the northern cave entrance.
- Fought an archery duel against a line of Settite guards with bows: shot multiple Settites in the arms before they could effectively return fire.
- After the party descended the cliff, stood back and peppered cultists and guards with arrows while also throwing flash nagetempos to blind them.
- Vael cast Missile Shield on her as a precaution.
- Tracked fleeing Settites east.
Session 39 — Diving for the Yellow Card
- Hired for the Yellow Card expedition into the Rudishva Bastion.
- Helped Thronebreaker breach the Rudishva security door using a portable battering ram.
- Fought the mimic and the sentry gun turrets in the Rudishva room.

Session 43a — Alpha Strike on the Cult of Set
- Hired by Right for Riches for the Forum of Set invasion.
- Entered through the cliff-face entrance.
- Shot four of six cultists on the torchlit chasm balcony.
- Shot the last fleeing cultist out of the basket on the cliff.
- Shot multiple Settite guards and acolytes in the kitchen battle.
- Wore magical goggles to see through Settite darkness; shot multiple goggled guards.
- Shot a Settite mage who made the mistake of not knowing Blink.
Session 43b — Alpha Strike on the Cult of Set (continued)
- Under Great Haste, kept up continuous fire as Settite reinforcements poured in.
- Survived Dobby’s invisible backstab using Luck, then shot Dobby to pieces.
- In the “Last Stand of the Settites”: opened with Concussion spell, then Flash and Smoke nagetempos, then sustained archery.
- Fought a long-range duel with a Settite warrior using a returning javelin; outlasted him due to superior rate of fire.
- Was exhausted after the battle; shoulder wound to Uvash left her as the only functional ranged attacker.
- Noted Stephania was cut down from behind by one of her own priests during the final battle.
Session 43c — Looting the Cult of Set
- Assigned to guard the entry hallway while the party looted the Settite vault.
- Shot the bipedal boar construct guarding the vault three times in center mass, finishing it off.
- Present for the freeing of many slaves.
