Summary

Basil is a young Archontean man from Narsileon, rescued from Tikun Thane’s slave-training operation and hired by the party for non-combat Beacon support work.

Notes

  • Distinct person from Sir Basil (Azure Shield knight) and unrelated to imperial Basileon/Basil naming in calendar lore.
  • Basil reported he was captured by Settite slavers, held in a slave pit, then sold to Tikun Thane at the Forum of Set and taken through a portal to the Tower of the Ape.
  • In the tower he and two other slaves were trained as Disciplined under coercion; the loser of bouts was whipped.
  • In Session 34c - Burglary and Death, he was freed and hired to assist Akla-Chah and Stamelis (page-turning/assistant duties with literacy training intent).
  • Working terms (GM blurb): $100/week + room/board, one day off per week in Gosterwick (using Rugs when practical), and confidentiality pledge.
  • In Session 35 - The Scepter - Flute of the Goblins, Basil provided labor support while Vael expanded the Annex library/storage at the Beacon.
  • In Session 40 - Taking Command, Basil handled practical setup at the Beacon while the party prepared exploration plans.
